We would like to congratulate all of the this years award recipients, as well as all of our cadets for completing another training year! This year has been strange, there has been a lot of uncertainty, but we thank all of our cadets for sticking through it!

PEI Sea Cadets Travel to Quebec City

(October, 2017) Sea cadets from Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps' 23 Kent, 85 Summerside, and 323 Blue Herron, in Prince Edward Island, travelled together by bus to visit beautiful Quebec City. The cadets explored historic landmarks, visited museums, and shopped at local retail outlets. "Traveling to new places is a great way for us to learn about other places in Canada," explains Patrick O'Hanley, a cadet with Rcscc Kent, "We also get to bond with our peers, and make new friendships!" Connie Curtis, Jeremy Bell, Patrick O'Hanley, and Colton Hutchinson inside the Montreal Biodome. The cadets visited a number of landmarks throughout Quebec City, including Montmorency Falls, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, and the Plains of Abraham - a historic battlefield from 1759. Duke of Edinburgh Awarded to Former PEI Sea Cadets!

 Two former PEI sea cadets have been awarded the Duke of Edinburgh! Eddie Zhao from Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps 23 Kent in Charlottetown, and Grace Smith from Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps 85 Summerside in Summerside are the two recipients. To earn the prestigious award, Eddie and Grace have both completed over 200 hours of community volunteering, 180 km of walking expeditions , plus countless hours of cadet training which include activities such as biathlon, fitness, and leadership training. About the recipients: Grace Smith Grace was a member of Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps 85 Summerside and worked her way up to become her corps' Coxswain, which is the most senior cadet of a sea cadet corps. We are happy to announce that we will be hosting a Virtual ACR on May 18th and 25th 2021, at 6:30pm! What's an ACR? It's an Annual Ceremonial Review. It is where (in a non-pandemic) cadets get to show off all that they learned during the training year at cadets.
